  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the north western parts of the Namakwa District.

Gauteng:


Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches in the south-east, becoming partly cloudy and warm.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.


Mpumalanga:


Temperature: Cloudy in the east with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.


Limpopo:


Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool in the east with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.


North-West Province:


Temperature: Fine and warm.


Free State:


Temperature: Fine and cool but cloudy in the extreme east.


Northern Cape:


Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but cold over the southern high ground.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south easterly.


Western Cape:


Temperature: Fine in the west, otherwise cloudy becoming partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers over the eastern parts of the south coast in the morning.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly along the south coast at first, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to southeasterly, but near gale in the south-west by the afternoon.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.


Eastern Cape:


The Western half Temperature: Partly cloudy in places otherwise cloudy and cold with isolated rain and showers along the coast and in the extreme east, clearing by the evening.


The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to southwesterly, becoming light to moderate easterly to southeasterly by the afternoon.


The Eastern half Temperature: Fine north of the escarpment, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cold with isolated rain and showers.


The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly, reaching strong in places in the morning.


Kwazulu-Natal:


Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cold but cool in the east. Isolated showers are expected but scattered along the coast.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to southwesterly.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
