FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:



  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape and south-western parts of the North West as well as the northern parts of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:


Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the north.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.


Mpumalanga:


Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but hot in the Lowveld.


Limpopo:


Temperature: Fine and warm but hot in the southern Lowveld.


North-West Province:


Temperature: Fine and warm.


Free State:


Temperature: Windy over the eastern parts, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in the extreme north-west.


Northern Cape:


East temperature: Cloudy with morning and evening fog in the north-west otherwise fine and cool to warm.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly.


Western Cape:


Temperature: Fine in the afternoon, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with morning and evening fog along the coast and in places over the interior.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly in the west otherwise easterly.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.


Eastern Cape:


The Western half Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the central interior, otherwise fine and cool, but cloudy in the south with a chance of isolated light morning showers and rain.


The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north westerly in the west, otherwise moderate to fresh westerly, becoming easterly in the afternoon.


The Eastern half Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the southern interior, otherwise fineand cool, but cloudy with a chance of light morning rain along the coast.


The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly, becoming moderate to fresh south westerly in the afternoon.


Kwazulu-Natal:


Temperature: Partly cloudy in the south and south-east with morning fog over these areas, otherwise fine and warm.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly north of Richards Bay, otherwise moderate westerly to south-westerly spreading to St Lucia by evening
