Show Promoter, Goldmoola Calls Out Burna Boy & His Mother For Extortion

Grammy winner, Burna boy is being dragged by an angry show promoter on Instagram.

The show promoter who has been identified as Goldmoola took to the app to call out Burna boy and his momager, Bose Ogulu. According to Goldmoola, Burna and his mother tried to extort him of  $10,000 (N5.7 million).

Burnaboy was paid to perform at a night show in Houston, Texas on the 3oth of October 2021. He reposted the flyer on his IG page confirming his attendance. However, Goldmoola said after he paid Burna boy the agreed amount, his mother asked for an additional $10,000 before Burna boy comes downstairs.  When he refused to pay the money, Burna boy announced on IG that he won’t be attending the show.

Goldmoola claims he lost $28,000 (#28.5 million) and his name was left to be slandered in the city he loves because of Burna boy’s actions. He is calling them out because they refused to refund the $15,000 that was paid as a deposit for the show.

Cubana Chiefpriest Campaigns For The Release Of Obi Cubana

Celebrity barman, Cubana Chiefpriest has confirmed the reports that his friend and boss, Obi Cubana was arrested by EFCC.

On Monday, the Abuja-based businessman arrived at the EFFC headquarters at Jabi, Abuja,  where he was interrogated by operatives of the commission. Though allegations against Obi Cubana were sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that his case bordered on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Reacting to the news, Cubana Chiefpriest joined the likes of Davido who took to their Instagram accounts to support their friend. According to the barman, Rich Igbo men like Obi are used to negative events like these. Cubana Chiefpriest also asserts that Obi Cubana will rise from this as he campaigns for his release on social media

In his words, he wrote: “What Doesn’t Kill Us Makes Us Stronger, We Igbo’s Re Used To This, Mbakala Ga Ama Ozo Mana Ozo Ga Ala. #FreeObiCubana”

‘Don’t Live To Impress People’ – Rudeboy Comments On The Collapsed 21-Storey Building In Ikoyi

Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy, has joined the millions talking about the collapsed 21-storey building in Ikoyi.

On Monday, an uncompleted 21-storey building located at Gerard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos state, collapsed with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of persons still trapped beneath the rubble.

Emergency responders were deployed to the scene and as of press time, three persons have been rescued while ten others lost their lives. According to the reports, 65% of the building has sold out and it’s billed for completion in 2022 (Source: Goldmynetv)

Gbolahan Oki, general manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), says the owner of the collapsed 21-storey building was given the approval for a 15 storey building, not a 21 storey building. He added that the owner of the property will face the law because people died and also for using inferior material for the construction.

Commenting on the sad incident, Rudeboy shared a video on the collapsed building while jogging the estate. Apparently, the building is located around his hood and the traffic has worsened because of the rescue mission.

Sharing the video, Rudeboy advised people to live their lives and not to impress anyone. According to him, as people are trapped in the collapsed building, others are trying to get to work #sad

Davido Reacts To Obi Cubana’s Arrest By EFCC For Money Laundering & Tax Fraud

Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted to the reports that socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to Punch Newspapers, the Abuja-based businessman arrived at the EFFC headquarters at Jabi, Abuja,  on Monday, November 1, where he was interrogated by operatives of the commission.

Though allegations against Obi Cubana were sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that his case bordered on alleged money laundering and tax fraud. The source said; “Obi Cubana was arrested and brought to the EFCC headquarters on Monday afternoon over allegations of money laundering and tax fraud. He is being grilled by detectives as we speak.”

As soon as the news hit the internet, social media users left comments that his arrest was expected considering the way he spent money at his Mother’s burial in Oba, Anambra State.

Reacting to the news, Davido reposted a photo of his friend to show his support. He captioned the photo; “Obi Nwere Ego” which means “Obi has money or “Obi is rich”.
